I think half the excitement with those machines back in the day was not knowing if the games were going to load or not; sitting there watching the tv screen with a rainbow of dancing lines - for the Spectrum, not sure about the Acorn? - and listening to the high pitched screeching as the cassette player did, or didn't, do its thing.<br /><br />Brilliant days of gaming - no spoilers back then, or books on 'how to', not even trailers.
