Beautiful People. As you know, A - Z Blogfest is looming large on the horizon and I'm sure that those of you that have chosen to get involved this year are, like me, getting slightly panicked about the sheer volume of posts that need to be pre-written in time for the event.
Or you might be slightly smug and have it all in hand already, smirking at me and my erstwhile blogging compadres, rolling your eyes in a knowing way. Or thirdly, you might be getting all balls to the wall, gung ho and planning to write each post on the day in a devil may care kind of way, super confident in your ability to knock up interesting and readable content in under an hour. Well to those folk I say, Get Bent. I'm getting on top of my shizzle in advance. Yo. That's about as street as I get, by the way.
I'm making a point to pre-write all the posts this month so I can have a wander around and read as many of the other submissions as I can.
As for a theme? I'm finding it difficult to think of something original. I know there are going to be music posts, writing posts and a plethora of other things I wish I had thought of, so I'm going to keep with the title of my blog and keep the posts random. There will be general rants about stuff, recipes, games, movies, music and all manner of other things. Also, I'm getting my son Rocco to pick a number between 1 and 1000 (or whatever the full number of A-Z blog posters there are) and posting a link to their site so you can have a squint at something else entirely random too.
Here's hoping you stop by and find something you like.
Rock on,
W.

Well Buongiorno beautiful people! Today is the day, Mina Lobo of the brilliant blog Some Dark Romantic 's Resurrection Blogfest. Mina ha...
Sounds like a fun strategy! I signed up late last year, so I missed all of the hype about actually being prepared. I flew by the seat of my pants...every day! I ended up doing alliteration posts...it just kind of happened, and then I couldn't stop! I dont think that would work twice, so I am trying to get some ideas down.
ReplyDeleteCheers Andrea. Thanks for stopping by. I had a squint at your sites and I'm on board. Love your recipe site! I'll be pinching some of those by the looks of things...
ReplyDeleteFun idea, having Rocco pick a number. Will that be daily?
ReplyDelete"Get bent," is possibly one of my favorite expressions, BTW.
I've got a blog theme and some words matched to letters, but haven't written a damned thing yet. Though I'd really better get to it, so I'm free to read others' stuff in April.
Yo! Love your street lingo Wayne!
ReplyDeleteSee you April 01 st!!
Found you through the A-Z news round-up.
ReplyDeleteHave fun!

Brand new follower here, as an A to Z co-host, so: nice to meet you, Wayne!
ReplyDeleteHello. Just thought I'd stop by to give you a wave *wave* and to wish you luck with the challenge. I'm with you, with regards to those who can easily write their blog posts daily. I'm having to plan mine as I know I wouldn't be able to do it daily!
